About Us

Based in Geraldton, Western Australia, SBW Creative is an independent design and marketing agency built from a desire to work with more freedom, heart and imagination.

After many years in corporate settings, SBW Creative was founded to embrace flexibility, deepen client relationships, and carve out a space that enabled more purposeful and expressive work. We’re not just a business that delivers pretty visuals, but a place where you will find guidance, understanding, trust and love for the brand you’re building.

Every project is an opportunity to shape something original, authentic and lasting. With a foundation in communications and a flair for design, we combine strategy with storytelling and bring your brand to life with style, clarity, and intent.

Meet Sam

Managing Director + Founder

Fuelled by creativity, passion, and a relentless drive to learn and grow, I thrive on curating thoughtful, impactful work that connects and inspires.

My journey into the industry began in 2012 with a Cadetship at the City of Greater Geraldton, paving the way towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications (Public Relations), which I completed in 2017. Since then, I’ve built a well-rounded skill set across corporate communications, public relations, marketing, graphic design, social media management, event management, and strategic development - bringing both creativity and structure to every project I take on.

I have been fortunate to work in many dynamic teams and organisations such as Murdoch University Student Guild, Rottnest Island Authority, and Central Regional TAFE. The most rewarding part of every role has been collaborating closely with clients to bring their ideas to life, which is something I continue to value deeply today.

My clients are at the heart of everything I create. Their goals guide and motivate me to deliver a project that not only feels meaningful and original, but also truly resonates and exceeds their expectations.

Outside of work you’ll find me crafting away, whether it’s painting, crocheting, drawing, or simply exploring new artistics outlets. I also love my football and netball; I’m often volunteering or playing for my local clubs.
